The Republican fire prevention campaign "For Safety Together" will be held in Belarus from October 16 to November 1, 2023

To enhance public safety, activate fire prevention efforts, analyze their effectiveness, and assess the readiness of territories for the autumn-winter period, a republican campaign to prevent fires and deaths from them in residential buildings, titled "For Safety Together" (hereinafter referred to as the campaign), will be held from October 16 to November 1, 2023.

Objective: To reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety regulations in residential buildings and structures, settlements, and territories, including rural areas; to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing fire safety services; to strengthen law and order; and to prevent offenses committed by citizens under the influence of alcohol.

Tasks:

1. To inform the public about the state of fire safety, and to explain to citizens the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety regulations, leaving children unattended, and alcohol abuse.

2. To assist republican state administration bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations in educating citizens on fire safety measures in everyday life and at work, and to assist volunteer fire brigades in organizing fire prevention activities.

3. To draw the attention of local executive and administrative bodies to the need for regular and targeted work to ensure fire safety in their respective territories, including improving the fire protection level of homes (apartments) of lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled individuals, and large families.
