Under the control of the traffic police - vulnerable road users

In order to reduce negative trends and prevent injuries to vulnerable road users, from September 15 to 24, the Vitebsk Region State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a set of professional events to once again draw the attention of pedestrians and cyclists to the need for strict adherence to traffic rules, as well as the mandatory use of retroreflective elements.

Law enforcement officers will organize large-scale awareness campaigns in work collectives and educational institutions.
Raid activities will be carried out on the roads.
The State Automobile Inspectorate strongly recommends that all road users increase their personal responsibility for behavior on the road, develop skills for constant monitoring of changes in the road situation, know all the basic requirements of the traffic rules, and be mutually polite on the roads, as in most cases road traffic accidents occur due to a lack of mutual respect between road users.
