Today, the II CIS Games start in Belarus

Today, the main sporting event of the year begins in Belarus – the II CIS Games, which will be held from August 4 to 14.

The opening and closing ceremonies of the sports forum will take place at the Minsk-Arena, and competitions will be held throughout the country – tournaments in 20 sports will be hosted by 11 cities: in addition to the capital, these are Vitebsk, Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev, Borisov, Soligorsk, Orsha, Molodechno, and Zhlobin. About 5,000 athletes, as well as coaching staff, support personnel, journalists, and fans from different countries will take part in the Games.
It is planned that the Games will not only be an arena for sporting battles but also allow guests to see the full attractiveness and hospitality of our country.
