«Slavianski Bazaar» will delight with new creative projects
A press conference dedicated to the upcoming XXXII International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" was held at the Vitebsk Region Media Center.
Heads of institutions involved in the organization of the festival spoke about the program of the celebration, which, in addition to concerts in the Summer Amphitheater, will delight with many events.
A concert of Spanish guitar music will be held at the Regional Philharmonic. The Yanka Kupala National Academic Drama Theater is preparing a premiere of a play dedicated to the artist Ilya Repin. A night screening will take place in Zdravnevo.
Puppet theaters from St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, and Mytishchi will come to the festival city of Vitebsk.
The Regional Museum of Local Lore will open an exhibition of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Belarus.
The KVN Cup "Slavianski Bazaar" will be held for the first time in the Summer Amphitheater. The teams "Doctor House," "Triod and Diod," "Russian Road," and "Borcy" will take part in it.
Also for the first time, the media holding "Russkoe Radio" will present a large project. The street art festival "Na Semi Vetrakh" (On Seven Winds) will expand its space. Artists will be provided with a new additional venue near "Marko-City."
According to Gleb Lapitsky, General Director of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center and Director of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" International Festival of Arts, more than 5,000 artists from almost three dozen countries are expected. Organizers plan to sell more than 60,000 tickets to spectators.
