May 20 – Day of Physical Culture and Sports Workers

The district sports event "Dad, Mom, I – a Sports Family," dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports Workers, brought together the most active families from rural councils and the town of Verkhnedvinsk.

The weather favored the holiday, which took place at the "Yubileiny" stadium.
Vyacheslav Bogushevich, Head of the Sports and Tourism Sector of the District Executive Committee, addressed the participants of the district sports event with a welcoming speech. He congratulated everyone who loves sports and works in the industry on their professional holiday and wished them new victories. Vyacheslav Alexandrovich noted the importance of parents setting an example for their children by demonstrating an active and, most importantly, healthy lifestyle.
The sports event turned out to be truly engaging and exciting. All participants demonstrated strong teamwork and good physical fitness. Support groups were organized for their participants by the chairmen of the rural councils of deputies, acquaintances, and friends.
The competitions were judged by a strict but fair jury – Anatoly Kiselevich, Director of the District Physical Culture and Sports Club, and his deputies Tatyana Glushnevich and Sergey Tomashevich.

Among the families from the town of Verkhnedvinsk, the Lisovskys – Alexander and Olga with their 12-year-old son Ilya – became the winners.
The second place, as last year, went to the Filipenko family: father Viktor, mother Kristina, and their 7-year-old daughter Yesenia.

The Novitsky family – Sergey and Svetlana with their 14-year-old son Timofey – took third place.
Among the rural participants, the Trifonenkоv family from the Belkovshchinsky rural council – father Alexander, mother Svetlana, and their 13-year-old daughter Victoria – won. For two consecutive years, she received "bronze," but this year she managed to win "gold."
The second place went to the Zaika family from the Borkovichsky rural council – Yuri, Inna, and their 12-year-old son Vladimir. The family also brought along the youngest participant – 5-year-old Nazar.
The winners were awarded diplomas and medals, and all participants received a great mood boost!
