May 15 – Family Day

Raisa Fyodorovna Sardyko, whose family became a laureate of the district festival "Family for Peace and Creation" in the nomination "Family of the Year - It's All of Us," shared what Family Day means to her.

- Today is not just a double holiday for me, but a triple one: firstly, of course, it's Family Day; secondly, the festival day coincided with my personal anniversary, and thirdly, my husband and I will soon celebrate our silver wedding anniversary.
In general, family is everything to me. Work, friends, hobbies take a back seat, second or third place, because family is the most important thing.
We are used to celebrating Family Day not in May, but in July, on the Day of Remembrance of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom. We always go to Sarya on July 8 for the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. We are celebrating in May for the first time, and thanks to the confluence of significant dates, this holiday has become very important and special for me.
My family is complete, and my husband and I consider ourselves happy people. I wish everyone to find their soulmates with whom they would be happy.
