We sincerely congratulate you on the bright national holiday – the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory!

The victory in the Great Patriotic War is inscribed in golden letters in the annals of our country. It was achieved through the incredible heroism of the people, the strength and courage of front-line soldiers, partisans, underground fighters, home front workers, and everyone who selflessly fought for the freedom of the Fatherland.
The war years became a severe trial and a great tragedy that claimed millions of lives. In Verkhnedvinsk region, there is no family that was spared by the war. Memories of the fiery years live in every home and are passed down from generation to generation. Paying tribute to those who died for the Motherland, we acutely understand the importance of preserving peace on earth, having the opportunity to work peacefully, rest fully, and raise children under a clear sky.
This truth is extremely relevant today, when the international situation is tense, and Belarusians have to defend the historical truth and the greatness of our people's feat during the years of trials.
Having lost every second resident of the district, we have no right to forget the price and significance of the Victory. On this holiday, as on all significant dates, flowers will be laid at every monument and obelisk, a minute of silence will be measured by the beats of our hearts, and the grateful generation will bow in deep reverence to the victors.
Victory Day is not only a tribute to memory but also a source of our confidence that we will preserve the right to life, labor, and human dignity, won in a bloody war.
Our youth learns patriotism and love for the Motherland from the military and labor traditions of the older generation.
We wish everyone strong health, peace, kindness, and well-being! May our common Victory unite us and inspire us to strengthen peace and creative endeavors for the sake of the bright future of our Motherland!
