A delegation from the Verkhnedvinsk district, led by the chairman of the district executive committee Vasily Shilov and the chairman of the district council of deputies Irina Kozel, is participating in the VIII regional patriotic event "Breakthrough of Victory" in Ushachi.

The celebration includes solemn and creative events, among which is the naming of the Ushachi Children's Art School after Demyan Vladimirovich Krupenya, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a cultural and art figure of the Ushachi district.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, noted that naming our famous countrymen to institutions – schools, art centers, cultural centers, planting trees – is a new life, a spring. And the Victory Day celebration brings all this together and turns it into a special symbol of light, life, and Victory.
Delegations from all regions of the Vitebsk region are participating in the Days of Partisan Glory in Ushachi, and representatives from the Pskov region of the Russian Federation have also been invited. Among the guests are members of military-patriotic clubs of the Vitebsk region, schoolchildren, youth activists, representatives of labor collectives, and public organizations.
