Landscaping and tidying up is not a one-day job

Since the beginning of the year, organizations and sponsors – JSC "Shaiterovo", the "Verkhnedvinsk" branch of bus depot No. 2 of Polotsk – have organized 7 community clean-up events, and the population has organized another 4.
Tree whitewashing, removal of weeds and shrubbery, and hazardous trees have been carried out. Most residents have tidied up their home areas by April 15.
People are trying to approach tidying up responsibly, and where possible, they are cleaning not only the areas adjacent to their homes but also common areas. The staff of the Shaiterovsky kindergarten and school have worked productively. They have cleaned not only their adjacent territories but also assigned areas – whitewashing trees, removing last year's leaves. The kindergarten sponsors the grave of war victims in the village of Leschilovo – it has already been put in order. The school has conducted 4 "descent" clean-up operations at monuments in the agro-town of Shaiterovo, the villages of Tyasty, Zhiguli, and Barsuki.
JSC "Shaiterovo" always "lends a hand" – providing the necessary materials for repairs. Employees of the Investigative Committee voluntarily assist in the landscaping of the monument in the village of Barsuki.
Every year, the agricultural enterprise purchases flower seeds, which are grown by the school. Up to 15,000 plants are planted in the agro-town alone. Last year, thuja trees were planted in front of apartment buildings, and this year, flowers.
