The traffic police department of the Verkhnedvinsk District Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a set of preventive measures to prevent road traffic accidents involving children.

From May 2 to May 5, events aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving minors are being held in the Verkhnedvinsk district.

During the specified period, State Automobile Inspectorate officers will pay special attention to drivers' compliance with the rules for transporting child passengers.
Raid activities will also be conducted near educational institutions. In work collectives and at parent-teacher meetings, State Automobile Inspectorate officers will remind drivers of the rules for safe passenger transportation.
In 2023, one child passenger died in 5 road traffic accidents on the territory of the region. One child pedestrian, one child driver, and 5 child passengers were injured.
