On the final certification of graduates

This year, a new model of final assessment is being launched. All 11th-grade graduates will take a centralized exam in two subjects.

The first is Russian or Belarusian language, chosen by the student. The second subject is determined by the students themselves from the disciplines for which the CE is conducted and which are required for admission. These include mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, World History and History of Belarus, Social Studies, Geography, English, French, German, Spanish, and Chinese languages. – The CE is mandatory for all 11th-graders, while centralized testing is only for those who wish to study at a university, – said Tatiana Zhuk, chief specialist of the education department of the district executive committee. – Graduates of our district have already decided on their choice of subjects for the CE. Commissions have been established in educational institutions to register for the CE, which takes place from April 1 to April 25. After registration, it will be impossible to change your mind and
choose another subject.
The main dates for the CE are also set: May 14 (languages) and May 21 (student's chosen subject). Several reserve dates are planned for those who missed the CE for valid reasons: May 23 and May 25, with reserve days for CT on August 21 and August 23.
In the Verkhnedvinsk district, the venue for the centralized exam on the main dates is Secondary School No. 2 named after Hero of the Soviet Union N.V. Troyan. The centralized exam starts at 11:00 AM; participants must arrive an hour earlier. For the CE on reserve dates, the nearest venue is PSU.
Access to the CE venue is granted only to students and those directly involved in the organization and supervision of the exam, upon presentation of passes and passports.
Students must have a black ink gel pen, a passport, and a pass. Mobile phones or other electronic devices are prohibited, with the exception of calculators for students taking chemistry or physics, provided these calculators do not transmit or store information.
– On January 28, a trial centralized exam for 11th-grade students was held in the district, as well as across the country, – noted Tatiana Gennadievna. – The organizational committee members, the administration of Secondary School No. 2, and the teachers involved in conducting the exam worked in coordination.
The centralized exam was conducted in an organized manner, without violations. The students were able to check their preparation, draw conclusions, and still have time to "brush up" their knowledge.
