Youth of Verkhnedvinsk Region – on the results of work and prospects

The IX Plenum of the Verkhnedvinsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) summarized the results of the youth organization's work for 2022.

The meeting was attended by T.V. Sevalkina, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, S.V. Yakovleva, Head of the Education Department, N.F. Andreeva, Head of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs, Yu.V. Parfenova, Chairperson of the District Trade Union Association, Z.I. Khodarenok, Chairperson of the District Council of Veterans, V.N. Kornyakova, Chairperson of the District Council of the Belarusian Pioneer Organization (BRPO), and representatives of primary youth organizations of the district.
The meeting began with a solemn ceremony of bidding farewell to the pioneer tie and joining the ranks of the BRSM – a new tradition of youth organizations in Belarus, which originated at the beginning of this academic year.
Youth membership cards were solemnly presented to the participants by A.A. Konakh, First Secretary of the BRSM Regional Organization, and S.V. Yakovleva, Head of the District Executive Committee's Education Department. Svetlana Vladimirovna, in turn, received a Letter of Gratitude from the BRSM District Committee for the assistance and support provided by the Education Department to the youth organization.

In 2022, over 20 open dialogues on various topics were held: youth actively participated in discussions on draft amendments and changes to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and the Law on the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, and discussed the BRSM's areas of activity and healthy lifestyle promotion.
The organization's activists were also busy during the summer holidays: 23 individuals worked productively in student teams at Prudiniki, Shaiterovo, and Belkovshchina OJSCs.
Our district hosted the regional stage of the family agricultural project "Master of the Village – 2022".

by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) named after A.N. Pakhomov. The primary organizations of the Verkhnedvinsk District Department for Emergency Situations, Shaiterovo, Osvy, and Volynets schools were awarded with diplomas of the regional organization of the BRSM.
