The traffic police is holding the "Attention! Self-propelled machines and tractors!" decade.

From April 10 to April 20, the State Automobile Inspectorate, in conjunction with representatives of the Administration for Supervision and Control of the Vitebsk Region "Gostekhnadzor", will hold a ten-day campaign titled "Attention! Self-propelled Machines and Tractors!".

The purpose of the campaign is to prevent road traffic accidents during spring field work due to technical malfunctions of tractor equipment and self-propelled machine trailers. Special attention will be paid to the serviceability of external lighting devices, orange flashing beacon equipment, reflective elements of agricultural machinery, as well as attached equipment, and the completeness of state technical inspections of agricultural machinery.
Employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Department will assist agricultural organizations in moving oversized agricultural machinery along public roads from parking areas to field work locations and back.
