A light snowstorm and temperatures down to minus 11 degrees Celsius are expected in Belarus on December 31. This was reported to BelTA by the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Monitoring and Environmental Management of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
Belarus will experience cloudy weather with clear spells. Snow is expected at times during the night, and short-term snow in most parts of the country during the day. Light snowstorms are forecast in some areas. Ice is expected on separate sections of roads. The wind will be northwesterly at 5-10 m/s, with gusts up to 14 m/s in some areas.
Air temperature at night will be minus 5-11 degrees Celsius, and minus 2-7 degrees Celsius during the day.
