The results of the International Architectural Forum "Effective Environment" have been announced
On November 29, the II International Architectural Forum "Effective Environment" was held in Minsk. This year, the event brought together over 800 specialists and experts in architecture and urban planning from Belarus and abroad. Its theme was "Vision".
The forum participants were congratulated by Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction Alexander Balashenko, VIASET project company head Vadim Drazhin, Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Architects Oleg Bykovsky, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the Belarusian National Technical University Yuri Chanturia, and Chief Engineer of "EKOVO" company, the event's general partner, Dmitry Trubach.
The business program included presentations, lectures, master classes, case studies, and panel sessions. Experts discussed key issues of urban environment development: methods for preventing "visual noise," creating a design code for cities, the growing role of public spaces, and new comfort standards in residential complexes.
In addition to the extensive business program, the forum featured vibrant expositions showcasing works from competition and educational programs, projects by leading design companies, and fine art objects.
The main intrigue of the day was the announcement of the results of the International Architectural Competition for the development of an effective environment for a residential block in the city of Brest. This year, the organizers received 63 entries from participants from 27 cities in Belarus and Russia. The jury composition can be found at the link.
The awards were distributed as follows:
- The I PRIZE and a cash prize of 15,000 Belarusian rubles (407,000 Russian rubles) were awarded to the authors of the Timeless City project – the Belarusian company LLC "VOROBYEV & PARTNERS". Author team: Arseniy Vorobyev, Olga Parshina, Alexander Golod, Mikhail Sobolkov, Dmitry Sushkevich, Igor Shamanovsky, Victoria Adamchuk.
THE SECOND PRIZE and a cash prize of 10,000 Belarusian rubles (272,000 Russian rubles) were awarded to a company from Russia - DT bureau - for the project "Residential Quarter KAFEL in Zadvortsy". The team of authors: Tatyana Taratuta, Danil Nazarov, Efrosinia Panieva.
THE THIRD PRIZE and a cash prize of 5,000 Belarusian rubles (136,000 Russian rubles) were awarded to another Russian team of authors - Daria Lavrinova and Alexey Lavrukhin - for the project "ESTATES".
