Ministry of Agriculture and Food: 150 exhibitors from seven countries will participate in the PRODEXPO exhibition
150 exhibitors from seven countries are participating in the PRODEXPO-2025 International Specialized Wholesale Exhibition-Fair in Minsk. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, Alexander Yakovchits, on the sidelines of the exhibition, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Alexander Yakovchits noted that 150 exhibitors from seven countries are working at the exhibition. "This year, our colleagues from Armenia and Azerbaijan are actively participating. Producers from Vietnam, India, and Turkey are present. Many of our colleagues are from the Russian Federation. A number of high-level delegations from 11 regions of Russia are represented. Therefore, the exhibition traditionally enjoys its success. It has not lost its relevance," he believes.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food also shared the results achieved in the industry. "Based on the results of the first nine months of 2025, we have already processed milk with a growth rate of 105.9% compared to last year. Moreover, we have ensured the production of whole milk products and cheeses at accelerated rates of 110% and 108%, respectively. We have ensured an increase in meat processing volumes. Moreover, in this sector, we are moving towards deep processing, increasing added value. We are focusing on sausage products, ensuring a 6% increase in production compared to the first nine months of last year. Therefore, we are growing systematically in all sectors, step by step. We are proud that today our food products are sold in 115 countries around the world. We are not stopping at what has been achieved. There are tasks from the head of state for deeper penetration into distant countries, including Africa and the PRC," Alexander Yakovchits said.
