Belarus intends to diversify supplies to Russia through new industrial products
Belarus intends to diversify supplies to the Russian market by introducing new products of domestic industry. This was announced to journalists by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin following a report to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Belta correspondent reports.
One of the topics of the report was cooperation between Belarus and Russia in industry - its current state and prospects for further development. The entire complex of these issues was discussed at a meeting between Alexander Turchin and Russian Minister of Industry Anton Alikhanov on October 15. Following the meeting, a decision was made to diversify supplies to the Russian market by introducing new products. "We need to look not only at the traditional products that we supply to the Russian Federation market, but also talk about new goods and products that the Russian market needs and that we can produce," the Prime Minister explained.
As an example, he cited "AMKODOR" logging machines. Russia is extremely interested in their supply. And at the meeting with the Minister of Industry, it was decided to supply them to the Russian market in a short period of time. "This process is underway, of course, but we need to finalize it very quickly. We need to start intensive supplies of these machines to the Russian Federation market literally from next year," Alexander Turchin specified.
