Deputies of the Vitebsk region gathered in Horodok: focus on sports, tourism, and quality of life
The social state is the Belarusian model of well-being. This is the leitmotif of the seminar for the parliamentary corps of the Vitebsk region.
A large-scale event was held in the Gorodok district. It was attended by Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Gleb Lapitsky, member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Education, Science, Culture and Social Development, Irina Polyakova, Chairman of the District Executive Committee, deputies and heads of interested services and departments from various parts of the Vitebsk region.
— One of the tasks of the authorities at any level is to create comfortable conditions for people, regardless of where they live. Seminars for the parliamentary corps are an important and necessary initiative that will allow us to analyze in more detail the implementation of state policy in various fields, and discuss topical issues of socio-economic development, — emphasized Dmitry Demidov. — This format of work provides an opportunity to exchange experience and develop solutions aimed at improving the quality of life of the population.
During the seminar, the deputies focused on the prospects for the development of sports and tourism, sanatorium-resort treatment and medical tourism. Also, the attendees laid flowers at the "Immortality" memorial complex in Gorodok, familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of the "Losvido" tourist and health complex, visited the "Gorodok House of Crafts and Folklore" branch, the ski and roller ski track in Vorobyovy Gory, and the sports and recreation complex of the regional center of the Olympic reserve for winter sports.
