The youth forum “Time to be Together” was held in the Miory district
Last weekend, the Miory district became a center of attraction for youth interested in the history and future of their country. The forum "Time to Be Together" was held here, dedicated to the memory of the heroism of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War and its significance for modern Belarus.
The event began at the Dzisna Rubiezh farmstead with a solemn opening, a moment of silence, and a dialogue between youth and the regional leadership and representatives of various departments.

During the discussion, Sergey Romanov, Deputy Head of the Department of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations for the Vitebsk Region, emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory.
- Such events remind us of the terrible events that swept through our lands like a hurricane. We must remember the feats of the Soviet people who, under the oppression of daily risk and fear, strove to liberate the world from the fascist threat. Our department is one of those that contributes to establishing historical truth by participating in excavations to find the remains of fallen soldiers, partisans, and local residents during the occupation. This work is extremely important as an act of preserving historical memory. It allows us to strengthen the connection between generations and pass on to future citizens of the country a truthful chronicle of the people's feat, on which our values and national identity are based, - he stressed.
