В 600 раз увеличилась на торгах цена бывшей школы на берегу озера под Витебском

The price of a former school on the lake shore near Vitebsk increased 600 times at auction

The former school building in the village of Sosnovka, located just 5 kilometers from Vitebsk, has generated significant interest from buyers.

The auction was organized by the State Property Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee using an electronic trading platform.

The school is a three-story brick building with an area of almost 3000 sq.m., including classrooms, an assembly hall, a workshop, and a sports hall. The grounds feature a fountain, a playground, and fencing.

Previously, the school had been offered for sale 8 times at its appraised value and with a reduced price, but no buyers were found.

Now, it was put up for sale for just one base value (42 Belarusian rubles).

Three buyers were immediately found for this price.

The winner of the auction was a private enterprise from Vitebsk engaged in tool manufacturing.

The sale price was 25,000 rubles.

Among the sale conditions are the reconstruction of the facility and its further use, or its demolition and the construction of a new facility within a period not exceeding three years.

Since the beginning of this year, the committee has conducted 96 successful auctions, which have not only utilized unused real estate for regional development but also replenished the state budget by 2.940 million rubles.

The committee has scheduled nearly 100 auctions for the sale of unused state property in the near future. More than half of the properties are offered for sale with an initial price equal to one base value.
