How will Vitebsk law enforcement officers ensure security at the "Slavianski Bazaar"?

There are sufficient forces and resources to maintain public order. This was announced to journalists by the Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Regional Executive Committee, Maksim Subbota, at the readiness review of internal affairs bodies for the XXXIV International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" held at the Summer Amphitheatre.

The head of the regional police noted that for the period of the "Slavianski Bazaar", the Vitebsk garrison has been transferred to an enhanced duty regime. Traditionally, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from all regions of Belarus, including special police units and State Automobile Inspectorate units, will assist their colleagues in maintaining law and order. At the most significant festival venues – the Summer Amphitheatre, the Vitebsk Concert Hall, and the Vitebsk Central Sports Complex – security and inspection measures will be organized.

– As part of the preparations for measures to ensure public order and public safety, internal affairs officers of the Vitebsk region have done a tremendous job. Reconnaissance surveys of festival sites, calculations of forces and resources, and reviews of personnel and equipment have been carried out. Law enforcement officers are fully prepared to ensure public order and safety during the festival, – emphasized Maksim Subbota.

For reference. The "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" - 2025 will be held from July 10 to July 13, with some events taking place on July 8, 9, and 14.
