Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill led the celebrations at the Polotsk Holy Cross-Epiphany Convent
A Divine Liturgy was held in St. Sophia Cathedral, after which the participants of the festive service and pilgrims proceeded in a religious procession to the Holy Transfiguration Stavropegic Convent of Saint Euphrosyne. On their way, the participants of the religious procession laid flowers at the monument to the Venerable Euphrosyne, located on Freedom Square. Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill led the celebrations at the Polotsk Holy Transfiguration Convent of Saint Euphrosyne.
The meeting with His Holiness the Vladyka took place in the Holy Cross Cathedral of the Polotsk Holy Transfiguration Convent of Saint Euphrosyne. The celebrations were attended by Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Veniamin, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov, Plenipotentiary Representative for Religious and National Affairs Alexander Rumak, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation Dmitry Mezentsev, and Governor of Smolensk Oblast Vasily Anokhin.
