Founded by Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk, the heavenly intercessor of the Belarusian land, the monastery is not only a spiritual symbol but also an invaluable part of our history and culture.
For nine centuries, this ancient monastery, one of the first centers of Orthodoxy and monastic life on Belarusian lands, has served as a beacon of faith and spirituality.
The Holy Transfiguration-Euphrosyne Monastery is not just a unique landmark; it is a place where history lives, where faith takes tangible form in the architecture of the Holy Transfiguration Church, its iconography, and holy relics. All this attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from Belarus and other countries seeking solace, healing, and spiritual renewal.
May the anniversary become a new impetus for the further prosperity of the monastery, the strengthening of spiritual traditions, and the spread of the light of the Christian faith.
