A brick factory in Rossony and 87 other production sites in the Vitebsk region are offered to investors
The Committee for State Property of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has compiled a list of 88 production sites to offer investors for the creation of new and expansion of existing production facilities.
This list has been formed based on proposals from district and city executive committees of the Vitebsk region.
The largest number of production sites are offered by the Postavsky and Verkhnedvinsky districts.
Currently, the largest unused production site in the Vitebsk region is the former brick factory in the Rossony district, built in 1996.
The brick factory has a favorable location – it is situated near the R-24 republican road, which connects the cities of Polotsk and Rossony, and is only 10 km from the border with the Russian Federation.
The investor is offered a land plot of over 16 hectares, on which 24 buildings and structures with an area of 25,815 sq.m. are located.
The production complex includes an administrative building, a production workshop, garages, a warehouse, a boiler room, and other real estate objects.
Engineering communications are available on the territory: electricity supply and heating, there is potable water, technical water, hot water supply, sewage, and gas supply.
The factory territory is fenced and guarded.
Currently, various methods of its involvement in economic circulation are being considered – including lease, sale, and gratuitous use for the implementation of an investment project.
The committee has also identified a list of 131 real estate objects that can be offered to investors free of charge for the implementation of investment projects or sold at auction with an initial price equal to one base unit.
The lists of real estate objects and sites are posted on the committee's website. For issues related to the transfer of property for the implementation of an investment project, interested parties can contact the economics department of the district executive committee where the real estate object or production site of interest is located.
One of the most interesting objects in the Vitebsk region, which has already been transferred for the implementation of an investment project, is the former manor house of landowner Stanislav Glazko, located on the picturesque shore of a lake in Rossony.
The manor palace, also known as the "house of a hundred windows," was built at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries and has the status of a historical and cultural value object of category 3.
The investor plans to create an economy-class hotel on the palace grounds, a mini-cafe will be opened nearby
