On May 20, 2025, the Second Practical Conference "Industrial Complex of the Republic of Belarus: Export, Import Independence, Effective Management" will be held in Minsk. The conference will take place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
At the Renaissance Congress Hotel, heads and leading specialists of ministries and departments, as well as industry experts, will speak, covering various aspects of the development of the industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus.
The conference will begin with a plenary session: "Strategic Priorities of Belarusian Industry" with the participation of representatives from ministries, departments, concerns, associations, and other organizations.
During the practical conference, a panel discussion will be held: "Belarusian Industry in Global Markets: Challenges, Solutions, Opportunities."
Representatives from the following will participate in the discussion: the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, the National Marketing Center, ZAO "BELGEE", and OJSC "BELAZ" - management company of the holding "BELAZ-HOLDING".
The discussion will be moderated by Tatyana Sakhnovich, Head of the Department of Engineering Economics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of BNTU, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, and
Irina Shvaikova, Deputy Director of the Research Unitary Enterprise "Center for Scientific Research of the Light Industry."
Among the most important issues submitted for discussion are the priority directions for diversifying export markets for Belarusian industrial enterprises in the context of limited access to Western markets.
The participants of the discussion will consider ways to protect national economic interests abroad and what measures need to be taken to increase the competitiveness of Belarusian products in the international market amidst global economic changes.
What mechanisms and tools can ensure the creation and development of high-tech industries, thereby increasing the competitiveness of Belarusian industry on the international stage? Representatives of science, ministries and departments, as well as a number of companies, will discuss the answer to this pressing question.
Discussion experts, including representatives of several enterprises, will share their case studies and visions for solving a number of practical issues. They will discuss the internal organizational changes and management approaches necessary for Belarusian enterprises to increase efficiency and adapt to new foreign economic conditions.
The development of foreign economic partnership is a relevant topic for Belarus. What logistics strategies and partnerships can ensure the effective delivery of Belarusian products to new markets in Africa, Latin America, and Asia? How can the experience of establishing assembly plants and service centers abroad contribute to strengthening the positions of Belarusian enterprises in foreign markets? The Deputy Chairperson of the Bellegprom concern, Nataliya Murashko, will speak about strengthening the positions of the Belarusian light industry in foreign markets.
Anna Rupenko, Deputy Director for Innovation Development of the Limited Liability Company "Minsk City Technopark", will share her experience in transforming industrial territories into innovation hubs of the Minsk City Technopark.
Viktor Biryuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Bellegprom concern, will deliver a report on the topic "International approaches to organizing social responsibility in enterprises."
