Vitebsk region continues to develop cooperation with the Chinese province of Shandong
In Vitebsk, the Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, held a meeting with a delegation from Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China. In May of this year, the Forum of Twin Regions will be held in Shandong, to which the delegation from the northern region has been invited.
We are interested in introducing the forum participants to the priority areas of cooperation with the Vitebsk region, and presenting our potential in the joint development of industrial and agricultural sectors. The heads of our three universities will take part in the forum, and this area of interaction has huge prospects for cooperation in science and education. We also want to introduce the forum participants to our tourism and cultural potential, and opportunities for health improvement in the most picturesque corners of the Republic of Belarus, visiting which will allow combining leisure and business, in which China is currently the world leader, - noted Anzhelika Nikitina.
The delegation of the Vitebsk region at the forum will include representatives of enterprises in the oil and chemical industries, woodworking, meat and dairy industries, manufacturers of a wide range of veterinary drugs, and confectionery products.
