Flash mob and tulips: rescuers of the Vitebsk region congratulated women on March 8

"With love from the Ministry of Emergency Situations": rescuers of the Vitebsk region creatively congratulated the fair sex on the upcoming International Women's Day.

The event began with a colorful flash mob on the square in front of the "Marko-City" business center in Vitebsk. Rescuers marched in formation, performed a musical composition, and presented over two hundred tulips to women, girls, and young ladies. Incidentally, one of the soloists was elevated above the festive area in the basket of an aerial platform.

The highlight of the flash mob was the appearance of a huge heart figure, which, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, symbolizes the boundless love and respect of men for women: mothers, wives, and daughters.

The congratulations were joined by Sergey Meshkin, member of the Council of the Republic and head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations department, and Gleb Lapitsky, member of the Council of the Republic and general director of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center, who gladly presented flowers and expressed words of gratitude.

– Despite the rainy weather, we feel warm, because our hearts are filled with boundless love for you. Thank you for being in our lives; we exist thanks to you, – Sergey Meshkin addressed the fair sex. – Happy upcoming holiday, love, joy, and spring mood to you!

The heroines of the flash mob lingered for a long time, took pictures with the life-size heart and the rescuers, and smiles did not leave their faces.

– This is my first time at such an event, I am very surprised and grateful to the rescuers. The mood is super! We women are constantly busy with care, hustle, and work, and such congratulations make us slow down, forget about problems, and have pleasant experiences, – shared Nadezhda Kharina.
