The head of the regional council, Dmitry Demidov, knows how to fulfill the dreams of the pupils of the regional Children's Home
Today, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov took on the role of Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and fulfilled the dreams of the pupils of the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home. The head of the parliamentary body was able to embody this role thanks to the Belarusian Red Cross's charitable campaign "Yolka Zhelaniy" (Tree of Wishes).
– The traditional "Yolka Zhelaniy" campaign provides an opportunity to offer assistance and share the New Year's spirit with children. And although the state does everything possible to ensure that the children are well-cared for, fed, and lack nothing, every child still needs more human warmth, attention, and involvement, especially in the pre-New Year days, – noted Dmitry Demidov. – It is wonderful that many volunteers participate in the charitable campaign, dedicating their free time to this noble cause.
The head of the parliamentary body, along with his assistant Nikolai Romanovsky, purchased gifts for five pupils of the regional specialized children's home – Zhenya, who asked Ded Moroz for a tactile book; Misha, who wished to find new sandals under the Christmas tree for New Year; Maxim, Semyon, and Eva, who ordered toys.
