Angelika Nikitina reviewed the progress of the innovative project at "Orshaagromash"
As part of a working visit to the Orsha district, the Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, met with the work collective of Orshaagromash LLC and familiarized herself with the progress of the innovative project implementation at the enterprise.
It is noteworthy that today it is undergoing a new stage in its development – after being separated from Orshaagroprommash OJSC, the company is becoming part of the Bobruiskagromash holding.
During the dialogue, Anzhelika Nikitina spoke about the achievements of the Vitebsk region, particularly the Orsha region.
She drew the attention of those present in the hall to the fact that, being a deputy of the twenty-ninth convocation of the Regional Council of Deputies for the Orshichny Electoral District No. 38, she does not overlook any issue raised by the region's population.
– For 9 months of the current year, out of 17 socio-economic development indicators set by the government, we are fulfilling 15 and hold leading positions in the country, – noted the Deputy Chairperson. – We have fulfilled the target for gross regional product. Speaking of the Orsha district, the growth rate of industrial production at comparable prices reached 125.9%. Based on the results of last year, among cities with a population of 80,000 or more, the Orsha district ranked 2nd out of 11 cities and regions of the Vitebsk region. This indicates that the Orsha region is developing at a faster pace in terms of its industrial complex. The district ranks 3rd in terms of real wage growth rate. The budget is being filled – the social sphere is developing. Finances are also directed towards capital repairs of housing, construction of new housing with state support, and renovation of kindergartens, schools, polyclinics, etc. In particular, a kindergarten is currently being built in the new microdistrict of Orsha, for which funds have been fully allocated for both 2024 and the following years. Its construction will be completed in 2025. Regarding new investment projects (the Head of State's directive "One District – One Project"), they are being implemented in all regions of the Vitebsk region. We see how dynamically enterprises are developing in the Orsha district.
At Orshaagromash LLC, the implementation of the innovative project "Creation of production facilities for the manufacture of innovative cutting bars and gearboxes for agricultural machinery" is nearing completion.
