В Витебской областной библиотеке имени В. И. Ленина открылась уникальная выставка «Книги в дар Президенту»

A unique exhibition 'Books as a Gift to the President' has opened at the V. I. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library

The exhibition "Books as Gifts to the President" showcases 50 publications from Alexander Lukashenko's personal collection, donated to the Presidential Library.

- During official visits and business meetings, the Head of State is often presented with book publications. He has gifted over 160 items from his personal collection to the Presidential Library. Some of these are featured in this exhibition," said Tatyana Adamyan, Director of the Regional Library.

The exhibition includes books on various topics: world history, fiction, art, spiritual heritage, economics, science, and sports.

The exhibition features books about the Great Patriotic War and genocide. Visitors can also explore the elite 4-volume republication of the memoirs and reflections of the legendary Marshal Georgy Zhukov.

Photo albums showcase art from painting to architecture, including "Pavlovsk. Artistic Collections," "Russian Landscape Painting," and "Suburban Imperial Residences: Weekdays, Holidays, Tragedies."

Among the exhibits are information-rich, colorfully designed publications detailing the cultural and natural wealth of China and Brazil. The unique books from China are interesting in their design (pages folded like an accordion) and content.

The books on display are unique not only in their content but also in their design, representing significant achievements in design and printing culture. The publications are of high quality, well-illustrated, and some come with special gift packaging, boxes, and dust jackets.
