In the Beshenkovichi district, the remains of Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War were reburied
The remains of Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War were reburied with honors in the Beshenkovichi district.
During search operations conducted in the summer of 2024 by servicemen of the 52nd Separate Specialized Battalion at burial sites near the village of Revyaki, Sorzhitsky village council, and near the civilian cemetery of the village of Vysokaya Gora, Bocheikovsky village council, the remains of 10 Soviet soldiers who died in 1944 were found. Discovered fragments of uniforms and ammunition from the Great Patriotic War period confirmed that Soviet soldiers were indeed buried in the graves.
The remains of three Red Army soldiers were reburied with honors at the military cemetery in the village of Kleshchino, and another seven were reburied in a mass grave in the village of Zadorozhye. A patriotic motor rally was held from one burial site to another.
