Housing and Communal Services and the Development of Farming: Alexander Subbotin Held a Reception of Citizens

During a personal reception of citizens, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, addressed a number of pressing issues, ranging from housing and communal services to farming.

Among the topics raised were disagreements with the responses from the main department of housing and communal services regarding apartment repairs after flooding, roof leaks, and freezing walls, as well as problems with unauthorized construction on a land plot leading to the flooding of a neighboring residential building.

One of those seeking assistance was Dmitry, a resident of the regional center, who spoke about long-standing issues with the technical condition of the residential building No. 5 on Gagarin Street.

"The roof in the building has been leaking since we moved in, and there is a closed attic space above us, which is inaccessible," he reported.

The problem is that the space above Dmitry's apartment was purchased by a third party after the building was commissioned, and the owner is not responding.

The head of the region added that quick solutions are not always possible.

"Some receive help immediately, some require more time, and some, unfortunately, cannot be helped for objective reasons," Alexander Subbotin summarized. "Nevertheless, such receptions help to identify gaps in legislation and adjust regulatory legal acts, decrees, and orders. In some cases, personal receptions make it possible to resolve conflict situations, which also contributes to improving the work of authorities."
