Athletes from the Vitebsk region took second place in the open marathon championship of Belarus

Last Saturday, the open marathon championship of Belarus was held in Mogilev. In the women's competition, Marina Domantsevich from Vitebsk won (with a result of 2:38.39), as reported by the website of the Belarusian Athletics Federation. 

 

 

In the men's program, two representatives from the Vitebsk region immediately entered the top five: Alexander Vasilevich finished fourth, and Sergey Mikhalkin – fifth. The winner was Alexander Pryamov from Minsk. Incidentally, he and Marina Domantsevich also won these competitions last year.

In the team standings of the open marathon championship of Belarus, runners from the Vitebsk region took second place.
