Alexander Subbotin is holding a meeting of the leadership of territorial defense management bodies in Orsha

In the Orsha district, a territorial defense training is being held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, with the management staff of the region's territorial defense bodies.

The training involves the chairmen of city and district executive committees, deputy chairmen of city and district executive committees responsible for territorial defense issues, heads of territorial internal affairs bodies, and district military commissars.

– Our task is to develop a common approach, an understanding of the issues that territorial defense addresses, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – It should give the defense of the state a nationwide character. We are checking the effectiveness of our defense, the operational capability to deploy it exclusively for the protection of our territory, our people, for the preservation of peace and tranquility.

As part of the meeting at the Orsha District Executive Committee, the Military Commissar of the region, Dmitry Volfovich, reported on the military-political situation in the country. The Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Igor Moroz, informed the attendees about the procedure for the District Defense Council to make decisions on the prevailing situation in the region.

In Barani, practical exercises will be held on the procedure for forming people's militia detachments, their training to perform tasks, and a scenario will be played out for repelling an attack on a guarded facility and eliminating the consequences of the enemy's use of weapons.
