Alexander Lukashenko approved the appointment of Alexey Geroyev as Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considered personnel issues on September 26 and approved the appointment of Alexey Mikhailovich Geroev as Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, a member of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Alexey Mikhailovich Geroev was born in 1983 in Vitebsk. He graduated from Polotsk State University with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering (2009), and the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in Economics and Management in Industry (2014).

From 2003 to 2017, he worked his way up from an engineer at a housing and utility section to chief engineer of the Vitebsk City Housing and Communal Services Public Utility Enterprise. In 2017-2018, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee.
