The date of September 17 is a symbol of the historical formation of the Belarusian nation and the sincere aspiration of Belarusians to live as one family in their own home. 

With a rich history and overcoming numerous difficulties, our people have preserved and carried through the centuries with dignity their unique culture and mentality. This is the foundation that connects our past, present, and future.

National Unity Day is a tribute from contemporaries to previous generations who defended the right to determine their own destiny. It instills pride in the country and gives the realization that Belarusians are a united people. This is the basis for the stability and well-being of the modern Belarusian state.

We wish you a careful attitude towards historical memory, respect for the military and labor achievements of the generations of ancestors. May their selflessness be an example in strengthening Belarusian statehood!
