Eight regions in the Vitebsk region have completed the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops

According to the regional agricultural sales department, as of this morning, 280.6 thousand hectares (98.5%) have been harvested, yielding 627.8 thousand tons with a productivity of 22.4 centners per hectare. The best performance was recorded in the Orsha district (37.9 centners per hectare).

7.5 thousand hectares (38.9%) of spring rapeseed have been harvested, yielding an average of 16.1 centners per hectare.

108.8 thousand hectares (36%) of soil have been plowed for sowing winter crops for the 2025 harvest. Rapeseed has been sown on 56.3 thousand hectares (93.9%). Farms have begun sowing winter grains, which will occupy 230 thousand hectares.

11.2 thousand tons of flax shives have been prepared, with an average grade of 1.

2.8 thousand hectares (2.6%) of corn have been harvested, with a green mass yield of 254 centners per hectare. In total, since the beginning of fodder procurement, 15.08 centners of feed units per conventional livestock head have been produced (as of the same date in 2023, it was 10.06 centners of feed units).
