В центре внимания – дети!

Children in the spotlight!

From August 19, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' information and propaganda campaign "Focus on Children!" will start in the republic and will last until September 13. The campaign aims to draw public attention to the problem of child injuries and deaths from external causes, including fires due to leaving them unsupervised.

The first stage will take place from August 19 to August 30. This period for the campaign launch was not chosen by chance: in the last ten days of August, a busy time begins for parents and their children – the completion of preparations for the new academic year. That is why the main target audience with whom rescuers will actively work will be parents, and places for communication with them will be shopping areas and places where children's goods are sold (school bazaars, fairs). For example, in departments with children's clothing in large shopping centers and other retail outlets, sets of children's firefighter combat clothing will appear on mannequins and hangers, and in stationery departments – fire extinguishers and autonomous fire alarms. All attributes will be accompanied by an information carrier with a tag bearing the slogan "For children left unsupervised." Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations can be met as experts, who will talk about the rules of safe behavior, help purchase not only school supplies but also an invaluable baggage of knowledge, and as a pleasant bonus – present each person with bright brochures, booklets, memos, and "Tips from the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Parents and Children."

Parents and children, while purchasing school uniforms and stationery, will also have the opportunity to test their knowledge of everyday safety rules. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will offer children to take the "Safety Exam," which is particularly relevant at the beginning of the academic year.

The second stage will last from September 2 to September 13. The venues for the events will be primary general secondary education institutions. Rescuers will attend festive assemblies and conduct thematic "Safety Lessons" with children.

Additionally, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will participate in parent-teacher meetings, where special attention will be paid to ensuring safe living conditions for children, teaching them safety rules at home and outdoors, and interactively reminding parents of fire extinguisher usage and first aid procedures.

Join the campaign and make this period happy and safe for your children!
