The Vitebsk region leadership congratulates trade workers on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Belarus's trade bodies

Fulfilling its social function, trade is a crucial sector of the economy, upon which societal stability and citizen well-being largely depend.

The joint efforts of management bodies, trade and industrial enterprises of the region, combined with economic and administrative measures adopted in the republic and the region, have allowed the sector to reach a new qualitative level.

Today, the trade sector of Vitebsk Oblast makes a significant contribution to achieving the target objective defined by the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021–2025, specifically to increase the share of domestic goods in the total volume of retail trade turnover to 63% by the end of the current five-year period, including 85% for food products.

Your constant striving for growth, acquisition of new knowledge, and adherence to the demands of the times deserve special recognition.
