Threshing of grain and leguminous crops was carried out on 41.1% of the area in the Vitebsk region

According to the regional agricultural sales department, 120 thousand hectares have been harvested to date, yielding 293.3 thousand tons at a productivity of 24.4 centners per hectare. The best indicators were recorded in Vitebsk (35.2 centners per hectare) and Orsha (35 centners per hectare) districts.

Winter rapeseed has been harvested from 29.4 thousand hectares (86.5%), yielding 41.9 thousand tons of oilseeds, with a productivity of 14.2 centners per hectare. Additionally, only a few hectares of early cereal grass seeds remain to be threshed (a total of 4498 hectares were sown).

Flax has been pulled from almost 6.3 thousand hectares (55.5%).

20.3 thousand hectares of soil have been plowed for sowing winter rapeseed for the 2025 harvest. In total, this crop will occupy 60 thousand hectares.

Fodder procurement for the second cutting is ongoing. Perennial grasses have been mowed on 94.6 thousand hectares (59.9%), with 13.02 centners of feed units procured per conventional head of livestock (compared to 8.38 centners of feed units on the same date in 2023).
