Alexander Subbotin: The forum will strengthen ties between Belarus and Russia
The XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, in addition to its commercial aspect, provides an opportunity to strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture, science, and education. This opinion was expressed to journalists by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee:
– Hosting such a large number of guests is a great responsibility. We want to show ourselves in the best light. In addition to the commercial aspect of this Forum, with 400 contracts already signed for over 60 billion Russian rubles, it is important that we are becoming more friendly, new connections are emerging: cultural, scientific, educational, and this is the basis for active cooperation and joint projects. The Forum is important for both sides, and the Union State has a future.
