The Vitebsk region hosted the "Volaty Pridzvinnia" street art festival
The third regional street art festival "Volaty Prydsvinnja" was held in the agro-town of Novka, Vitebsk district.
The program began with a mascot race and a dog show. Collectives from different parts of the Vitebsk region gathered on the festival stage. Street musicians, dancers, and circus performers charged the audience with special energy.
They competed in two age categories: from 6 to 15 years old and from 16 to 35 years old. Presentations of sites and projects were held for the event guests. There was space for entertainment, sports, and useful purchases.
It is noteworthy that the celebration is interesting for a diverse audience. 30 different events were prepared for the festival guests. The organizers thoroughly prepared entertainment for the youngest visitors. Children were awaited by zones with board games, various stylized entertainment tents, many toys, and animators.
Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, shared her impressions of the festival with a correspondent of "VV":
– Such events have a special charm, as they involve circus and street art. And the main thing is that such beautiful festivals are held not only in central cities but also in district centers and agro-towns. There are many young people here who are inspired by the festive atmosphere or participate. This cannot but please.
There are indeed many young people at the festival. Karina Ishkulo came to Vitebsk for the weekend from Minsk and decided to attend the event. The girl was impressed by the rich program:
– Immersing myself in this festive atmosphere, I was pleasantly impressed by the participants' vibrant performances. I especially liked the dance group from Orsha. It's great that it's interesting for both children and adults. Everyone found something for themselves here.
The festival concluded with a fire show and a night disco.
