Dmitry Demidov elected chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of the public association «Belaya Rus»
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Public Association "Belaya Rus" is Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies.
The candidacy of Dmitry Demidov was submitted for consideration by the members of the regional conference by Oleg Romanov, Chairman of the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus".
– In his previous and current positions, Dmitry Demidov has proven that, in addition to being a wonderful person and an excellent professional, he is also a statesman and a patriot. He prioritizes the interests of the country and the Belarusian people. While serving as Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, he pursued a course aimed at creating all conditions for the full development of both individual citizens and society as a whole. He perfectly understands that without relying on specific people and civil society, there will be no full development.
The candidacy of Dmitry Demidov was supported by many speakers, who emphasized his principled nature, reliability, and competence. Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, drew attention to the significant work Dmitry Demidov has done in establishing the public organization. He expressed confidence that the candidate's initiative and work capacity will help raise the bar for the public organization to a higher level.
– Dmitry Vladimirovich is a person with constant ideas aimed at making our society better, more interesting, and safer. He knows his job well. His accumulated experience will also help him in his public work, – expressed Vyacheslav Durnov.
Dmitry Demidov thanked for the high trust placed in him and promised to do everything in his power to ensure that the public association continues to work effectively for the benefit of his native country. He called for actively regenerating new ideas and projects, as the members of the association in the regions are talented and initiative-driven people.
At the conference, it was noted that the former head of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Public Association "Belaya Rus", Vladimir Terentyev, has done a lot in this public sphere, worked in close conjunction with other public associations, and commanded respect and his opinion was heeded.
