Dmitry Demidov: "People judge the work of the authorities by how housing and communal services issues are resolved"

Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov held a reception for citizens in Vitebsk.

The venue for the meeting of the head of the region's parliamentary corps, Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Gennady Sabinich, and the head of the administration of the Pervomaysky District Evgeny Semyonchyov, was Housing and Utility Enterprise (ZhEU)-22. After working hours, this is the most appropriate meeting place: all roads lead to the utility service. And there are many reasons for citizens' appeals: current repairs, the operability of utility networks, basement flooding, leaky roofs, and wall panel joints. Previously, the issue of solid municipal waste removal was acute; recently, the intensity of this urban problem has subsided.

Of all the "utility" complaints and appeals received by the 11 existing housing and utility service units in the regional center, 15% are attributed to ZhEU-22.

This information was announced by the manager of Vitebsk City Housing and Utility Enterprise (ZhRET) Alexander Dabatovkin.

– Such problems are characteristic not only for the residents of this particular area but, to varying degrees, for all citizens. And since ZhEU-22 is one of the largest, it was decided to organize a meeting with people here, – emphasized the head of the region's parliamentary corps.

A total of more than ten people registered and attended the reception.

- People judge the work of the authorities by how housing and utility issues are resolved, - stated Dmitry Demidov. - We will continue to practice such receptions; they provide a snapshot of the problems that concern citizens.
