Вопросы безопасности детей и подростков во время весенних каникул обсудили в Медиацентре Витебской области

Child and adolescent safety issues during the spring break were discussed at the Vitebsk Oblast Media Center

Starting today, schoolchildren are on spring break – a period when children and teenagers can spend a significant amount of time unsupervised.

To prevent emergencies and not to overshadow the joy of holidays, representatives of the Commission for Juvenile Affairs and Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Psychiatry and Narcology, the State Automobile Inspectorate, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Belarusian Voluntary Society for the Rescue of People on Water reminded schoolchildren about safety rules during the online meeting "Safety Hour," which took place at the Vitebsk Region Media Center.

During the meeting, speakers informed students of educational institutions about the consequences of offenses and crimes, including particularly serious ones. They discussed their prevention. They also discussed the tricks of cyber fraudsters, their methods of operation, and learned what security measures can be taken to prevent cyber fraud.

Important topics of discussion included adherence to safety measures on railways, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, rules for the safe use of electrical appliances, and actions in emergency situations.

Participants of the meeting were also reminded of traffic rules for pedestrians, cyclists, and users of personal mobility devices, water safety rules, and suicide prevention.
