The Vitebsk regional organization of the RPO «Belaya Rus» nominated candidates for delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Congress

At the conference of the Vitebsk regional organization of the republican public association "Belaya Rus", ten candidates were nominated as delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly from the civil society entity. The elections of delegates will be held on April 6 at an extraordinary congress of the public association, where Vitebsk region will be represented by 47 delegates.

The conference was held today at the regional institute for the development of education.

Among the elected candidates are Nikolai Martynov, member of the Republican Council of the RPO "Belaya Rus", Deputy General Director of the "Marko" footwear holding; Olga Ryazanova, Chairperson of the Vitebsk district organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus", manager of the Vitebsk district center for ensuring the activities of budget organizations; Vladimir Svitsky, locomotive driver instructor of the "Polotskoye" locomotive depot of UP "Vitebsk Branch of Belarusian Railway"; Yulia Golubeva, nurse of the Senno Central District Hospital, and others.

As noted by Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the regional organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus", all candidacies were proposed by the regional structural divisions of the regional organization. The selection process for candidates began in November 2023. It was very important to ensure representation from all territories, all social groups, and different generations. The formation of the pool of candidates was carried out in close cooperation with social partners, as many members of the RPO "Belaya Rus" were nominated as candidates for delegates to the BNS from other entities.
– When forming such a nationwide governing body, it is certainly important to remember those people who, perhaps, did not become top managers, but are professionals with rich life experience, who have dedicated many years to working in production, and are patriots of the country. Therefore, when choosing candidates, we focused on those who work on the ground. These are worthy people, they are known in their regions and beyond the region. I am confident that they will worthily represent our public organization at the BNS, – noted Vladimir Terentyev.

At the conference, members of the public organization "Belaya Rus" summed up the results of their activities for 2023, outlined plans for the future, recognized the best, and also elected their representatives to the extraordinary congress of the RPO "Belaya Rus".
