My family is my country: the republican competition "Family of the Year" among large families is starting

The first stage of the republican competition among large families "Family of the Year", dedicated to the celebration of Family Day, will be held in Vitebsk on May 18, 2024.

To participate in the competition, an application, an information certificate about the family, and written consent of adult family members for the processing of personal data for the purpose of participating in the competition are submitted by the organization at the place of work of one of the parents (labor collective), the district executive committee to the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The winner of the competition is recognized as the family that scored the highest total number of points based on the results of the competition task.

The winner is awarded a diploma of the I degree. In accordance
with the number of points scored among the participants of the first stage of the competition, prize-winners are determined, who are awarded a diploma of the II degree (one diploma), a diploma of the III degree (one diploma). The cost of prizes for diplomas is set at the following amounts:

for a diploma of the I degree – up to 30 basic units;

for a diploma of the II degree – up to 20 basic units;

for a diploma of the III degree – up to 15 basic units.

Prizes are awarded in cash and (or) in kind.

Competition Tasks:

"My Family is My Country"(up to 15 minutes):

Presentation of the family's business card "Family Tree":

1.1. (brief presentation of the history of one's lineage, family customs and traditions, achievements of family members, etc.) is evaluated:

completeness of the disclosure of the history of one's lineage;

ability to emphasize the uniqueness (distinguishing feature) of one's family.

Presentation of a socially significant project reflecting

the family's contribution to the life of the region:

1.2. (presentation of the active life position of family members, their hobbies, successes and achievements; participation (contribution) of family members in the socio-useful and cultural life of the region) is evaluated:

social significance and originality of the project;

ability to creatively express and declare the active life position of the family.

Additionally, the following is evaluated:

style and aesthetics of presentation (musical and artistic design, costumes, speech, etc.);

degree of participation of all family members in the presentation of the task.

The competition evaluation system is 7-point: maximum score – 7; minimum score – 1.

Information about the winners and participants of the competition is posted on the websites of the regional executive committee, the committee for labor, employment
and social protection of the regional executive committee.
