More than 10.3 thousand children will rest in school camps in the Vitebsk region during the spring holidays
More than 10.3 thousand children from the Vitebsk region will rest in school camps during the spring break, the Vitebsk regional department of the Republican Center for Recreation and Health Improvement of the Population reported.
During the spring break, more than 10.3 thousand boys and girls will rest and improve their health in school camps, including 4.2 thousand young athletes who will be in day camps. Also, 90 schoolchildren will be sent to the round-the-clock camp "Druzhnye Rebyata" in the Vitebsk district for nine days with a voucher.
As a rule, parents of younger schoolchildren use the opportunity to send their child to a school camp, as at this age, boys and girls often need supervision. For six days, they will be provided with three meals a day - breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. A leisure program will also be prepared for the schoolchildren, which will include patriotic events, safety lessons with rescuers and police officers. In Vitebsk, for example, cultural trips to the cinema and theater are planned.
The regional department of the Republican Center for Recreation and Health Improvement of the Population noted that about Br320 thousand have been allocated for the organization of holidays and health improvement for children in the Vitebsk region.
