A new outpatient clinic has been opened in the Bilevo microdistrict in Vitebsk
A new general practitioner's clinic was opened today in the densely populated Bilevo microdistrict in Vitebsk, a BELTA correspondent reports.
The opening of this facility has become a real New Year's gift for all residents of the growing microdistrict. The clinic will serve over 27,000 people. General practitioners and specialists such as a surgeon, traumatologist, gynecologist, otolaryngologist, and ophthalmologist will be receiving patients here. Necessary medical procedures, ultrasound, and ECG will be performed at the clinic. Blood samples will also be collected here and promptly delivered to the laboratory of branch No. 3 of the Vitebsk City Central Polyclinic (VCC), to which the new clinic is affiliated. The clinic is equipped with a barrier-free environment for people with special needs, including tactile paving, signs, and Braille labels.
She added that modern equipment was purchased for the clinic. For the ophthalmologist's office, this includes a refractometer, a slit lamp, and a perimeter for visual field testing. An operating table and a shadowless lamp have been installed for surgical interventions. Such equipment can operate autonomously. The examination room features an electrically adjustable gynecological chair with a control panel. A high-class ultrasound diagnostic machine has been purchased for the ultrasound diagnostics room. The ECG room is equipped with a "Kardian" Holter monitor, a spirometer, and an electrocardiograph.
During the opening of this important social facility, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin noted that it is a significant addition to the gifts for the residents of Vitebsk, and especially for the Bilevo microdistrict. "There are spacious offices and modern equipment here. I believe this will improve our lives, making them of higher quality and more positive," said the head of the region.
Appointments with doctors at the new clinic will be available starting January 8.
