Инновационные подходы к работе в информационном пространстве обсудили в Медиацентре Витебской области

Innovative approaches to working in the information space were discussed at the Vitebsk Region Media Center

Innovative approaches to working in the modern information space are being discussed at a training seminar that has started at the Vitebsk Region Media Center for the chairpersons of primary organizations of industry trade unions of the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions.

We have invited the chairpersons of primary trade union organizations and our trade union leaders who are actively involved in social media to the seminar. Trade union SMM will help in organizing joint trade union activities, will be useful in the work of your institutions, in creating interesting information content, and the knowledge gained will provide a good creative impetus, – noted Elena Nefedova, chairperson of the regional organization of state institution employees' trade unions.

Opening the seminar, Elena Nefedova focused on the electoral and reporting and election campaigns.

Our trade union has actively joined the electoral campaign. We have nominated our representative to the Vitebsk Regional Election Commission, and ten members of our industry trade union – to the district election commissions. Aspects of your participation and preparation for the unified voting day should be covered on social media, – noted Elena Nefedova. – The second important stage is the reporting and election campaign. Throughout the next year until November 2024, reporting and election meetings of primary trade union organizations and district organizations will be held, and the final event will be a plenum where the results of the five-year work will be summarized.

Anatoly Gutsulyak, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that social media management is becoming paramount today, as people get all the necessary information from the internet.

Those who work in the internet environment should know what our media space represents, which is traditionally represented primarily by radio, television, and print media. But considering modern trends, when about 90% of Belarusians use the internet and usually get their news there, social media management is coming to the forefront, – noted Anatoly Gutsulyak. He told the attendees about the media space of the northern region. By the way, two online publications, 48 print, and 16 electronic media outlets operate in the Vitebsk region.

At the seminar, invited speakers will also discuss the creation and management of the official Telegram channel of the regional executive committee, working with bloggers and opinion leaders, social media trends, the basics of working with photographs, and the fundamentals of writing news items. Dmitry Kryshtanovich, Deputy Head of the Cybercrime Counteraction Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Regional Executive Committee, will speak about the prevention of cybercrimes and online fraud, and Svetlana Suprunchuk, Chief Legal Labor Inspector of the Regional Trade Union Association, will discuss innovations in labor legislation.
